|Len Rugg’s Office Furniture answers our customer’s most frequently asked questions.
Q. How do you measure a room and why is it important?
A. It is important to understand the dimensions of your room in order to maximize your space and choose the best layout for your needs.
On a piece of paper start by making a square, rectangle or shape most representative of your room. Choose a starting point (typically a door, window or corner) and work your way around the room. Then, measure the perimeter (square footage of the room) from baseboard to baseboard or molding to molding.
Sketch out your room taking into account windows and doors, electrical outlets, heat runs, cold air returns, light switches and any furniture that will remain in the room. Also, note which way the door swings (in or out) and to which side it's hung (right or left).
Q. Why buy from Len Rugg's Office Furniture versus a big chain store?
A. At large office supply or furniture chains the customer usually only sees what’s on the “shelf” or what is available in their catalog, but at Len Rugg’s Office Furniture we can show you numerous configurations that will accommodate the needs, styles and budgets of each customer. Len Rugg will educate you on the variety of finishes, surfaces and layouts available so you can make an informed purchase decision.
